E.D.U.C.A.T.E
E.D.U.C.A.T.E. stands for Educators Dedicated to an Unwavering Commitment to Advancing Tenacious Education. The influence of a great educator can never be erased. Educators have the ability to change the trajectory of a child’s life. Their dedication to their students and their craft, combined with their superhero-like abilities to directly affect the outcome of the world, is a commitment that does not go unrecognized by the Bridges Foundation team. Therefore, we would like to offer some special local minority educators a token of appreciation…and we would love your support in this effort.
Influenced by the late Yancie L. Smith Jr., the "We Love You" endowment supports young males pursuing higher education in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or any related STEM Fields. To maximize our impact, we focus our endowment on creating opportunities for students with a 2.5 GPA or less. This endowment can be used by freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors that live in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC.

Senior Tech Program
Our Senior Tech Program looks to bridge the education gap in regards to technology for the senior community throughout the Washington DC area. Technology can greatly benefit our senior population, making it convenient and safe to connect with family, friends, and healthcare professionals. Seniors often struggle with reduced reactivity, making it harder to keep up with fast-paced technology. Bridges offer seniors classroom-based interactive learning sessions that help seniors become familiar with smartphones, laptops, and tablets. We also teach proper data and computer security to ensure the integrity of our seniors data and information.
